How do I display the Fretlight in Left-handed mode?

The LED's in the lefty Fretlight are no different from those of the righty's, so your computer will not detect that you've plugged a lefty Fretlight into the USB port and appropriately flip the lights for you; you will have to do this yourself in each software program you use. The software should remember the setting once you've set it, so you will only have to do this step the first time you open the software.

It is very easy to configure for left-handed orientation in each software program, as outlined below:

Lesson Player - from the menu bar click "File" and select "Preferences". Click on the "Fretlight" tab, and select left handed from "Fretboard Orientation".

AxMaster - from the menu bar click "File" then select "Preferences". Click on "Fretboard Display" and under "Frets" select left-handed.

M-Player - click the 2nd button on the top right on the window, it has a little note on it. This opens "M-Player Options". Under "General" is "Fretboard Orientation".

Improviser - same steps as M-Player

Fretlight Video Player - Click on the "Guitar Options" icon on the bottom left on the FVP screen.
