Can I put any strings on to a Fretlight guitar or do I have to use Fretlight strings?

The Fretlight Guitar is no different than any other standard electric guitar, except for the LED interactive light system. So yes, you can use normal electric guitar strings, swap out the tuners, bridge, pickups, pickguard, or whatever you'd like.
