Installation instructions, with an ID, on a Mac

• Visit http://fretlight.com/guitarpro/freetrial.php, enter your name and email address and click “Submit”.

• You will receive an email from info@fretlight.com titled, “Your Guitar Pro 6 Fretlight Ready Download Links”.

• Open email to view download links for the demo version of GP6FR. (The Demo version of GP6FR is a real version of the software that is limited to sample tablature. It will not allow a user to open any new tablature. Once a User ID and Key are entered, the user will have the ability to open any GP6 tablature in GP6FR.)

• Click on “Download Mac Version”.

• Once the download is complete, open the .dmg file and drag-and-drop the GP6FR icon into the “Applications” folder to start the installation. Once the software is copied into the application folder, you may close that window.

• After installation, open your “Applications” folder and launch GP6FR.

• Click “Enter Your License” on the “Trail Version” window.

• Type your User ID and Software ID into the “Enter Your Guitar Pro License” window. Your temporary key is valid for 30 days from the day you first enter your key.

• If successful, GP6FR will close and the “Updater” will automatically open. The Updater will be defaulted to “Install All”. Click the “Install” button to begin downloading and installing your updates.

• Once all of your updates are downloaded and installed you will see a window titled “Installation Successful”, click “OK” to close this window. The Updater will then close.
